Job summary

Cars24 is seeking an experienced Automotive Painter, Prepper or Panel Repairer to join our Sydney reconditioning team at our Villawood facility. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment, aiming for a premium finish across a high-volume vehicle pipeline.

You’ll prep, paint, tint and polish to exacting standards, collaborate with PDR and delivery teams, and contribute to meeting quality and throughput targets while enjoying a consistent 7am–3pm roster on weekdays.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive paint preparation, spray painting or panel repair experience.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in finish quality.
• Ability to maintain high standards at volume in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, prime, buff and denib vehicles per job sheets and quality specs.
• Apply paint, primer and clear coat using the spray booth and tinting system.
• Carry out colour matching to a high standard of accuracy and finish.
• Inspect own work against quality benchmarks before progression in pipeline.
• Maintain spray booths, equipment and tools to manufacturer standards daily.
• Collaborate with reconditioning, PDR and delivery teams to keep vehicles moving.
