Job summary

RXI Group is seeking a skilled Auto Electrician for our Campbellfield workshop in Victoria. Join Australia’s national leader in fleet fit-outs and work primarily on brand new vehicles with a strong focus on quality, diagnostics, and efficient fit-outs.

You’ll diagnose faults, perform full vehicle fit-outs, and install electrical systems across EV, PHEV and hybrid fleets, working with a supportive team in a modern workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Auto Electrician.
• 1–2+ years industry experience.
• Experience with 4WD accessory fitting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing electrical faults (with and without diagrams).
• Full fit-outs including dual battery systems, inverters, UHF, GPS, lighting and accessories.
• Install, wire and commission auxiliary electrical systems on EV, PHEV and hybrid vehicles.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Working efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards.
• Collaborating with production teams to meet deadlines.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for high-quality auto electrical installations and diagnostics across fleet vehicles.

Your work will include:

• Diagnosing electrical faults (with and without diagrams)
• Full fit-outs including dual battery systems, inverters, UHF, GPS, lighting and accessories
• Install, wire and commission auxiliary electrical systems on EV, PHEV and hybrid vehicles
• Identifying and resolving technical issues
• Working efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards
• Collaborating with production teams to meet deadlines

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Auto Electrician
• 1-2+ years industry experience
• Experience with 4WD accessory fitting
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
• Current Driver's Licence
