Job summary
CQUniversity in Mackay is seeking an experienced trades professional to teach Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology. You will deliver hands-on training and assessment, drawing on your industry experience to bring the trade to life for apprentices.
We provide a fully funded TAE40122 qualification while you are employed, plus relocation assistance. Enjoy 5.4 weeks annual leave and a permanent role with a competitive salary and 17% superannuation.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology.
- Current hands-on industry experience in electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding, testing or commissioning.
- Interest in mentoring apprentices in workshop and classroom settings.
- No teaching experience required; training provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on training and assessment to automotive apprentices.
- Guide students through practical and technical automotive electrical work.
- Balance teaching with preparation, marking and student support.
- Relocate to Mackay region and contribute to program development.
