JAX Tyres & Auto Gilles Plains is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations alongside the Store Manager. You’ll mentor workshop staff, drive sales, deliver outstanding customer service and coordinate bookings and workshop flow.

Ideal candidates have previous leadership in automotive retail, tyre/mechanical experience, a current driver's licence and the ability to roster on Saturdays. This role offers career growth within a trusted Australian brand.

Qualifications

• Automotive experience is essential.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a retail/automotive environment preferred.
• Tyre, mechanical and/or wheel alignment experience is desirable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proven leadership and team mentoring capability.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Current and valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work Saturdays if rostered, 8am–12pm.

Responsabilités

• Drive the day-to-day success of the store in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and automotive advice.
• Support sales and store performance.
• Manage bookings and allocate workshop jobs.
• Supervise and mentor workshop staff.
• Provide leadership, feedback and support to the team.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and staff.
• Support efficient workshop and store operations and stock control.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
