Job summary

Mexx Engineering Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking a Trade Assistant for a full-time, 6-month fixed-term role. You will work under supervision within a manufacturing environment, following SOPs and established criteria. Salary ranges from AUD 45,000 to AUD 55,000 plus super.

Benefits include company-sponsored skills training, semi-annual KPI appraisal, and a performance-based bonus. Prior welding or cutting experience is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate I, or compulsory secondary education

Responsibilities

• works in accordance with standard operating procedures and established criteria
• works under direct supervision either individually or in a team environment
• understands and undertakes basic quality control/assessment procedures including the ability to recognise basic quality deviations/faults
• understands and utilises basic statistical process control procedures
• follows safe work practices and can report workplace hazards.
