Automation Tester

An exciting opportunity is available for an Automation Test Analyst with solid experience in the retail industry to join a dynamic team on a 6-month contract. The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring attendance in the office 2-3 days per week.

Role Overview

In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the quality of digital products by building and maintaining automated testing frameworks. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software for customer-facing applications.

Responsibilities

Build, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, covering both UI and API layers.
Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and align on testing needs.
Log and manage bugs, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
Encourage the adoption of modern testing practices and continuous integration strategies.
Review automation code and offer constructive input to the team.
Engage in agile ceremonies, including planning sessions and stand-ups.

What You'll Need

Retail industry experience is essential-you must have worked in testing roles within retail-focused environments.
Proficiency in using Playwright or similar automation tools for both UI and API testing.
Strong grasp of testing methodologies, software development lifecycles, and CI/CD principles.
