Job summary

John Hart Pty Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer/Mechanical Design professional to lead automation projects locally and internationally. The role covers design, project management, and hands-on build activities for robotic cells and machine tool integrations.

The successful candidate will manage multiple projects, ensure on-time delivery within budgets, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to drive successful FAT/SAT sign-off and installations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience managing automation projects from conception to completion.
• Experience in Automation and/or Manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of robotics is advantageous.
• Able to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Experience in machine tools manufacturing environment is valuable.

The Role

This exciting opportunity offers the right candidate a Project Engineering/ Mechanical Design role for automation projects both locally and internationally.

Projects range from robotic and automation cells to integration of machine tools and special purpose equipment, predominantly for manufacturers.

For technically minded and motivated individuals this role will provide you with the chance to take your technical skills to the next level whilst being involved in interesting and fulfilling projects.

The Person

• Advanced 3D CAD design and detailing skills
