Job summary

CNFiTech Engineering is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, develop, test, and commission PLC and SCADA systems for industrial and utility projects. The role requires regular site attendance, commissioning activities, and collaboration with electrical, mechanical, process engineers, contractors and clients to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience designing, building, testing, and commissioning PLC/SCADA on industrial and utility projects.
• Strong technical and project delivery capabilities.
• Experience with Siemens S7, Step 7, and TIA Portal.
• Experience with Schneider M580 PLC.
• Ability to read electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, test, commission, and support PLC and SCADA systems.
• Manage automation and control projects from design through commissioning and handover.
• Develop control system designs, specifications, requirements, and technical documentation.
• Analyse plant and equipment performance for improvements in automation, reliability, and efficiency.
• Plan FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, and site activities.
• Provide technical leadership and support project delivery from concept through to operation.
• Prepare operations, maintenance, testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
