Job summary

Qualifications
- Proven experience in PLC programming.
- Strong experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens and/or Omron PLCs.
- Proficient in HMI programming.
- Proven experience in automation and control system design.
- Experience with industrial networks and systems integration.
- Experience working within a systems integrator, OEM or end-user environment.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar electrical design software.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
- Current or willingness to obtain a Police Check.
Responsibilities
- PLC programming, upgrades and modifications.
- HMI programming and configuration.
- Automation and control system design.
- PLC upgrades and automation improvement projects.
- Control panel design and development.
- Electrical design using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Industrial network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Systems integration and commissioning.
- Fault finding and troubleshooting of automation systems.
- Providing technical support at client sites.
- Working closely with clients, engineers, electricians and production teams.
- Preparing technical documentation and project information.
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety, quality and client requirements.
