Job summary

Talent International is recruiting a Systems Tester for a Federal Government program based in Wollongong. The role focuses on hands-on automation testing across cloud technologies, system integrations and enterprise applications, supporting complex delivery within Agile Scrum teams.

With 5+ years in systems testing and strong automation in C# and Java, you will test AWS environments (DMS/CDC, Kinesis), APIs and data migrations, while integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and mentoring junior

Qualifications

5+ years in systems testing with a strong automation focus.
Hands-on automation using C# and Java.
Experience testing AWS environments (DMS/CDC, Kinesis).
Experience with Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, Postman and Swagger.
Strong SQL skills for data validation and defect investigation.
Experience testing APIs, data migrations and event-driven architectures.
CI/CD pipeline integration and Git workflows.
Solid understanding of Agile Scrum delivery methodologies.
Experience leading testing activities and mentoring junior testers.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test strategies, test plans and automation frameworks.
Perform end-to-end system, integration, regression, API and database testing.
Design and implement automated tests using C# and Java.
Test AWS cloud environments and data migrations.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Manage defects, test environments, reporting and release readiness.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders within Agile Scrum teams.
Mentor junior testers to improve automation capabilities.
