SYNC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturing improvement and automation across bathroom pod operations in Melbourne's Laverton North. You will review workflows, identify bottlenecks, investigate new equipment, and help implement practical improvements on the production floor.

You will lead business cases, plan implementations, testing, commissioning and handover, spanning the full lifecycle of improvement projects with cross-functional teams across Production, Quality, Design

Formación

• Hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering and automation.
• Ability to review workflows, identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Experience with equipment selection, testing and commissioning.

Responsabilidades

• Process Improvement: review manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Manufacturing Analysis: map value streams and measure outcomes.
• Equipment & Technology: assess CNC, robotics, automation and inspection systems.
• Project Implementation: plan timelines, budgets, risks, and success measures.
• Testing & Commissioning: coordinate testing and handover of new processes.
• Business Cases: prepare cost-benefit analyses for investments.
• Production Layout & Workflow: optimise layouts across manual to automated processes.
• Technical Support: assist Production, Quality, Design and Project teams.
• Supplier Coordination: liaise with equipment suppliers and integrators.
• Continuous Improvement: train teams and drive a culture of improvement.
