Job summary

Woolworths Group in Melbourne is seeking a leadership-level CI role focused on automation at an advanced fulfilment site. You’ll partner with site leadership and the WooliesX team to drive performance improvements, safety, and quality through data-led CI practices.

You will lead a team, coordinate with Knapp, and shape best-practice for future automated sites across the network, including system testing and SOP development.

Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green or Black).
• Experience in automated FMCG, distribution or manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to apply continuous improvement methodologies to improve safety, efficiency and quality.
• Experience in tactical and operational planning in a complex environment.
• Strong communication and influencing skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a CI team to monitor performance and drive root cause investigation.
• Develop and implement CI initiatives and automation solutions across the site.
• Troubleshoot automation systems and software issues.
• Collaborate with Knapp to assess PLC and SCADA systems and review change requests.
• Present impact analyses to leaders and support training teams to embed change.
• Participate in system testing, operational readiness and commissioning, and write SOPs and work instructions.
