Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering.
- Proven track record designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks.
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience for automation teams.
- Experience with AI/GenAI applications in software testing and automation.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall test automation strategy and roadmap across applications/projects.
- Architect, design, and implement scalable, reusable automation frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership to automation engineers and teams.
- Lead the adoption of Selenium with Java and Playwright for UI and end-to-end automation.
- Evaluate and recommend automation tools, frameworks, and design patterns.
- Establish automation standards, best practices, and framework governance.
- Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- Drive automation across functional, regression, API, integration and end-to-end testing.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
- Promote AI/GenAI-assisted test generation and analysis in the automation program.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, DevOps, product teams and stakeholders.
- Communicate automation architecture, risks, and recommendations clearly.
