Job summary

Aurizon is seeking a qualified Auto Electrician for its Murrin Murrin Operations, WA. You will maintain and repair mobile plant assets, ensuring safety, reliability and efficiency, within a structured maintenance program and both planned and unplanned work flows.

Role focuses on fault diagnosis, breakdown repairs, records keeping, and compliance with electrical specs. WA driving licence and safety-first mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Relevant nationally accredited Automotive Electrical Trade Certification
• Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting ability with respect to heavy equipment electrical and wiring systems
• High level of knowledge of electrical functions, defects and fault finding with automotive equipment
• High level of skill in interpreting technical instructions and drawings
• Strong commitment to safety
• Current unrestricted WA driving licence

Responsibilities

• To conduct routine corrective electrical maintenance and fault diagnosis, and repairs on road trains and heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Conduct breakdown repairs and troubleshooting to minimise equipment downtime and maintain production targets.
• Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specifications
• Maintain all records and associated documentation relating to asset condition, maintenance programs and costing systems
• Report on actual work performed against the scheduled work program
• Progress the implementation and application of work procedures and practices in pursuit of ensuring continuous quality improvement.
