Job summary

Rombola Family Farms in Griffith, NSW, is seeking an Auto Electrician to diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems across our vehicles and farm machinery. You’ll work with a proactive, safety-focused team and contribute to our sustainable farming goals.

The role requires at least 2 years in auto-electrical work, experience with air-conditioning for vehicles and heavy equipment, reading schematics, and strong problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Auto-electrician and relevant qualifications.
• Have air-conditioning for vehicles and heavy vehicle experience.
• Proven experience maintaining and repairing farm machinery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance software and programs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagnose problems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing electrical problems in vehicles and determining the best course of action for repair.
• Installing new electrical components and systems in vehicles/machinery.
• Repairing and maintaining existing electrical systems in vehicles/machinery.
• Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems, such as checking and replacing batteries and alternators.
• Keeping up to date with new electrical technologies and industry trends.
