Job summary

Mader Group is seeking experienced Automotive Electricians with mobile plant experience to join our team across the Hunter Valley, Gunnedah and Narrabri regions in NSW. This role offers lifestyle roster opportunities and the chance to work on heavy mining equipment.

You will perform hands-on electrical fault-finding and diagnostics, with a NSW COP in Automotive Electrical and a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology. Full Australian working rights are required.

Qualifications

• NSW COP in Automotive Electrical is essential.
• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology required or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years post-trade experience.
• Proven experience with mobile plant and heavy equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on electrical maintenance on heavy mobile plant and mining equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to electrical systems.
• Contribute to safety and quality in the workshop and field operations.
• Collaborate with team to plan and execute maintenance schedules.

What you'll need

• NSW Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Automotive Electrical - essential
• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' post-trade experience
• Proven experience with mobile plant and heavy equipment
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Air Conditioning Licence advantageous, but not essential
• Mining or civil experience highly regarded
• Full Australian working rights
