Yancoal Australia Ltd is seeking Auto Electrical, Electrical and Mechanical Technicians for the Moolarben region in NSW. You will join a skilled team reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, performing diagnostics, AC drive truck maintenance, and field servicing on mobile plant.

The role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to work night shifts within a multi-skilled team environment, contributing to reliable mine operations and a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Electrical trades qualification and valid supervising certificate.
• Ability to work in a multi-skilled maintenance team.
• Willingness to work night shifts as rostered.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks on mobile plant including diagnostics.
• Carry out AC drive truck maintenance and field servicing.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with maintenance team to complete tasks safely.

Job Tasks And Responsibilities

We are seeking Auto Electrical, Electrical and Mechanical Technicians to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to safely perform all maintenance tasks on mobile plant such as diagnostic work, AC drive truck maintenance, field maintenance on equipment and general servicing.

Skills And Experience

Essential Criteria:

• An exceptional commitment to safety
• Electrical Trade Qualification
• NSW Qualified Supervisors Certificate (Electricians)
• Ability and desire to work well within a multi skilled team environment
• The ability to work shift rosters including night shift

Desirable Criteria

• Heavy mobile equipment maintenance experience on:
• Komatsu Truck Fleet (830E & 930E)
• Komatsu Dozer Fleet (D375 & D475)
• Caterpillar 789D Truck Fleet
• Liebherr R996A/B & 9800 Digger Fleets
• Atlas Copco DML60 & PV275 Drills
