Job summary

Northeast Auto Group in Adelaide, SA, is seeking an Auto Electrician to join our Body fit-out team. You will fit electrical accessories to new build vehicles, route wiring looms and support the workshop with general labour tasks as required.

You’ll work with a range of electrical components such as side lights, tarps, taillights, spotlights, beacons, fridges, inverters and isolator switches, while following safety protocols and delivering quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology (essential).
• Strong understanding of Air Trailer brake systems with an automotive background.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Forklift Licence (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Fit electrical accessories on new build vehicles (side lights, taillights, spotlights, beacons, fridges, inverters, isolator switches).
• Route wiring looms through vehicle frameworks.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools and machinery.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Perform quality checks and report issues to supervisors.
• Support the team with general labour tasks as required.

Job description

As an Auto Electrician with Northeast Engineering your primary responsibility is within a Body fit-out role, this will include the fitment of electrical accessories to New Build vehicles.

About The Role

• Fitting Electrical accessories – including but not limited to Side Lights, Tarp Motors, Taillights, Spotlights, Beacons, Fridges, Inverters, Isolator switches
• Routing wiring looms
• Operating and maintaining both hand and power tools and machinery
• Following Safety protocols and maintaining a clear working environment
• Performing quality checks and reporting any issues to supervisors
• Supporting the team with general labour tasks as required

About You

• Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology (essential)
