Job summary

A9X Auto Electrics Pty Ltd in Wallsend, NSW, is seeking a fully qualified Auto Electrician or a 4th year apprentice to join our busy workshop. The role focuses on in-shop auto electrical repairs, fit-outs, and occasional on-site service calls.

You’ll work with fleet servicing, dual battery systems, and diagnose modern vehicle systems, including EFI, ignition, ABS, and A/C, using diagnostic tools to ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Australian Driver’s Licence is required.
• Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology is required.
• A/C licence is preferred but not essential.
• Pride in workmanship and a

Responsibilities

• In-shop auto electrical repairs and fit-outs.

• Fault finding and repairs to wiring, fuses, switches and ignition systems.

We’re a busy Auto Electrical workshop based in Wallsend and we’re on the lookout for a fully qualified Auto Electrician or a 4th year apprentice to join our team.

About the Job

Our work is mainly in-shop auto electrical repairs and fit-outs, with the occasional on-site service call. No two days are the same, and the work is varied and interesting.

You’ll be working on things like:

• Fleet servicing and repairs
• Dual battery systems
• Diagnosing and repairing modern vehicle systems including EFI, ignition, ABS, cruise control, airbags, automatic transmissions and A/C
• Fault finding and repairs to wiring, fuses, switches and ignition systems
• Using diagnostic tools to get the job done right

What We’re Looking For

We’re a fun, clean, and upbeat workshop, but we take pride in doing quality work. This role would suit someone who enjoys their trade, works well with others, and takes pride in doing things properly.

You’ll need to have:

• A current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology
• A/C licence preferred but not essential
• Pride in your workmanship

• Be reliable, punctual, and presentable
