Job summary

Independent Lives is seeking an Autism Support Worker for a 19-year-old non-verbal autistic male in a private residential setting near Horsham. The role involves on-site duties, flexible hours including occasional night shifts, and a supportive team environment.

Full training and shadowing are provided; options for Positive Behaviour Support and RBT-style training are available. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English to a reasonable standard.
• Previous experience of working with autism.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship.
• Assist with transportation and community outings.
• Support client with daily living activities and self-help skills.
• Assist with day service routines and holidays.
