Job summary

Blue Ribbon in Penwortham is seeking a Female Support Worker to empower adults with autism and learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role paying £13.14 per hour and involves personal care, daily living tasks, medication administration, and community access.

You will follow person-centred care plans, complete care records, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

Supports individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
Ability to follow person-centred care plans.
Documentation of care records and daily notes.
Safeguarding awareness and safe practice.
Willingness to complete required training.

Responsibilities

Enable access to activities and support personal choices and preferences.
Follow care plans and assist with personal care, daily living tasks.
Maintain a safe, clean environment and document care records.
Administer and record medication safely and accurately.
Support meal preparation, domestic tasks and community access.
Provide emotional and social support to service users.
Report safeguarding concerns and maintain good relationships with family and professionals.
Encourage independent living skills where possible and participate in training.
