Job summary

Fuse Energy Supply Limited is seeking an Infrastructure Development Lead in Australia to accelerate Ready-to-Build solar and BESS projects. You will originate opportunities, lead due diligence, and drive end-to-end transactions in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will collaborate with our technical teams on grid connection strategies and engage with developers, landowners and stakeholders to build a robust Australian project pipeline and deliver scalable, construction-ready assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in utility-scale solar, BESS or renewable energy development and M&A.
• Proven ability to originate, assess or close renewable energy transactions.
• Strong knowledge of Australian grid connection processes (AEMO, DNSPs, state approvals).

Responsibilities

• Source and originate Ready-to-Build solar and BESS projects through developers, landowners and industry networks.
• Lead technical, grid, planning and commercial due diligence on acquisition opportunities.
• Drive transactions end-to-end, from first conversation through negotiation and close.
• Assess project risks across grid connection, permitting, land and construction readiness.
• Lead selective greenfield solar and BESS projects from site identification through Ready-to-Build.
• Work with our technical team to develop grid connection strategies with AEMO, DNSPs and TNSPs.
• Build strong relationships with developers, advisors, landowners and stakeholders across the Australian market.
• Ensure acquired and developed projects are deliverable, scalable and ready for construction.
