Job description

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Auslan Teacher to join the team at Heritage College Primary, Narre Warren.

This is a Part-time (0.4 FTE), Fixed Term position. This position commences in January 2026 and concludes at the end of the 2026 school year.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:

  • Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes
  • Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students
  • Use multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goals
  • Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system
  • Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the College's Christian-based ethos
  • Can plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students

Heritage College provides co-educational Christian education from 3 and 4-year-old Early Learning through to Year 12.

The salary range is $86k-128k based on years of experience.
