Job summary

Grant Thornton Australia is seeking an experienced Associate to join the Perth Audit Practice. You will contribute to independent statutory audits, build rapport with clients, and engage in high-quality assurance work using our global audit methodology.

You will use leading technologies, develop your analytical skills, and collaborate with a supportive team to deliver robust insights for diverse clients, including ASX-listed entities and Not-for-Profits.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Audit & Assurance environment with sound knowledge of IFRS.
• Progress toward CA/CPA qualification is expected or in progress.
• Strong client relationship skills and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Undertake independent statutory audits of public listed and unlisted entities and government bodies.
• Create complete and accurate audit work papers.
• Identify and report on client financial risks.
• Expand analytical review of clients’ financial statements to ensure statutory compliance.
• Investigate technical issues to improve client outcomes.
