Job description

Harmonic Hearing & Balance is an independent audiology practice providing comprehensive hearing and balance services across Brisbane, with established clinics in Springfield Central and Greenslopes.

We work closely with ENT specialists, GPs and other healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based, patient-centred care.

Our services include adult and paediatric diagnostic audiology, hearing rehabilitation, cochlear implants, bone conduction implants, central auditory processing assessments and vestibular testing.

As our practice continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced audiologist to join our team, primarily based at Greenslopes, with some flexibility to work across our other clinic locations.

About the Role
Audiologist

Full-time | Greenslopes, Brisbane

This is an opportunity to join a growing independent practice where clinical judgement, professional development and quality patient care are genuinely valued.

We're looking for an audiologist who is confident working independently across diagnostic audiology and hearing rehabilitation, while having a genuine interest in continuing to develop their clinical skills.

Depending on your experience and interests, your responsibilities may include:

  • Comprehensive adult hearing assessments
  • Paediatric hearing assessments
  • Hearing rehabilitation, including hearing aid fitting, verification and ongoing care
  • Tinnitus assessment and counselling
  • Involvement in CAPD assessments, cochlear implant services, vestibular assessments and other specialised areas of audiology
  • Working collaboratively with ENT specialists and other referring healthcare professionals

You won't be expected to have experience in every specialised area. We value a willingness to learn and will provide support and training as you develop your skills.

What Makes Harmonic Different?

Clinical care comes first.

We believe audiologists should be able to make clinical decisions based on their patients' needs, without commercial pressure.

At Harmonic, we offer:

  • No sales targets or commissions – clinical decisions are guided by patient needs, not sales pressure
  • Clinical autonomy – the freedom to exercise your professional judgement
  • A broad clinical scope – opportunities beyond hearing aid work
  • Professional development and mentorship – support from experienced audiologists and opportunities to develop specialised skills through our ENT collaborations
  • A collaborative environment – working alongside clinicians who value evidence-based practice
  • Opportunities for growth – the chance to develop your career as our practice continues to expand
About You

We're looking for an audiologist with strong clinical foundations, sound clinical judgement and a genuine commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.

Ideally, you will have:

  • A recognised qualification in audiology
  • Current professional accreditation recognised in Australia (through Audiology Australia or ACAud)
  • Ideally 2–5 years of post-qualification clinical experience, although applicants with less or more experience are also encouraged to apply
  • Confidence working independently across diagnostic audiology and hearing rehabilitation
  • Strong communication and patient-centred clinical skills
  • A strong work ethic, reliability and a willingness to take initiative
  • A collaborative and professional approach to patient care
  • A genuine interest in continuing professional development and broadening your clinical expertise
  • Current working rights in Australia (visa sponsorship is not available for this position)

Experience in both adult and paediatric audiology is preferred.

Experience in cochlear implants, vestibular assessment or other specialised clinical areas would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
