This is a permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday, based at our busy hearing clinic within

Who are we?

Neurosensory is a complete hearing health care company, with 25 clinics in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. We offer an advanced range of diagnostic services and tailored hearing solutions, and we have built a strong reputation for our commitment to patient-centered care, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

We are proud to be part of Sonova, the leading manufacturer of innovative hearing care solutions, present in over 100 countries across the world. Our talented and passionate employees all over the world know they contribute to something greater than themselves – they create a life without limitation through the sense of hearing.

What will you be doing?

  • Help clients with their hearing problems by providing professional recommendations about best rehabilitation options and providing clear rehabilitation programs considering the client’s difficulties, lifestyle, management abilities and budget.
  • Perform clinical assessments in-line with current best practice and the Company’s clinical protocols and communicate assessment results and subsequent recommendations.
  • Meet our clients’ needs, wherever possible, through providing appropriate and professional advice, services and devices.
  • Offering counselling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss management and communication strategies.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Take part in professional development and training to maintain current and diverse knowledge in your specialist areas of audiology.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • 2-5 years' experience in Adult Rehabilitation (diagnostic experience highly regarded but not essential).
  • Current registration with the appropriate professional body.
  • Solid audiological skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent levels of customer care and service, and a passion for delivering an amazing client experience.
  • A commitment to building strong therapeutic relationships with our clients, and achieving the highest standards in audiological care.
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, ensuring the commercial success of the business.
  • A desire to support other members of your team, and nurture an inclusive and enthusiastic culture in the region.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Dedication to staying updated with industry advancements.

What's in it for you?

  • A competitive fixed salary which is based on your experience and expertise, not the number of hearing aids you fit.
  • Regular support and mentoring from your Senior Clinician in Charge, and members of the Clinical Excellence team to help you to grow as an Audiologist.
  • Opportunity to work alongside co-located ENT surgeons, exposing you to a wide range of complex cases in a collaborative environment.
  • A broad scope of services including adult hearing aid rehabilitation, paediatric assessments, implantable hearing devices, and tinnitus management.
  • Being a part of a dynamic and supportive team with a global company that is at the forefront of innovation in the hearing industry.
  • An environment where clinician input is highly valued and you have the opportunity to be heard and make a difference.
  • A values driven and people-centred culture.
