Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in Operational Risk, Internal Audit or Assurance, ideally in Wealth Management and Banking.
  • Strong understanding of controls, industry practices and the regulatory landscape.
  • High degree of commercial acumen, providing valued insights and strategic direction.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Effective Data Analytics skills are valuable.

Responsibilities

In this role, provide assurance over the effectiveness of critical controls and the control environment in managing operational risks, recommend actions to improve the design and operation of these controls to manage material risks and report findings in written reports. You will lead a program of work with key business stakeholders to uplift controls specific to Banking and Wealth (Superannuation), supporting the management of their material risks and collaborate with stakeholders across the ecosystem to understand end to end process. In addition you will develop ongoing relationships with key business stakeholders and share and adopt learnings utilising experience across the broader Group and industry to drive best practice.
