Associate Visual Designer

About the opportunity

We’re looking for an Associate Visual Designer to join our high‑performing creative team and help bring ideas to life across digital, print, video, and animation. This is the perfect opportunity for a designer ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll work on a wide variety of meaningful projects—from campaign assets and social content to infographics and presentations—while continuing to grow your skills through mentorship and hands‑on experience.

Key responsibilities may include:
  • Design and produce creative assets across digital, print, and multimedia platforms (think social media graphics, brochures, newsletters, and more).
  • Create infographics, illustrations, and visualisations that make complex information easy to understand.
  • Assist in developing video and animation content, with support from senior creatives.
  • Apply and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistency and innovation across all visual outputs.
  • Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to turn briefs into compelling visual content.
  • Format documents and layouts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies—and be open to learning new ones.
  • Use project management tools (like Monday.com) to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture by sharing ideas and supporting others.
  • Leverage AI‑approved design tools to enhance creativity and streamline workflows.
About you

You’re a creative thinker and clear communicator who knows how to turn complex ideas into visuals that make sense—always ready to bring fresh ideas to the table and find smart, engaging ways to solve problems.

Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Design, Graphic Design, or Digital Design.
  • Experience as a Graphic Designer (2 years+ with a passion for fresh ideas and creative problem‑solving).
  • A portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and execution across multiple mediums (please include some examples of your work in the application).
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas through visual storytelling.
  • Familiarity with project management tools or a willingness to learn.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
Desirable:
  • Experience using Monday.com or similar project management platforms.
