An understanding of the business side of practise is important. Veterinary medicine is an artform. We don't want upselling. But we do need proper work-ups, patient follow-through, following clinic protocols on clinic scheduling, estimates and pricing, and fighting those inate tendencies to discount to ensure all staff, including nurses, is paid well.
The clinic prides itself on excellent patient and client care. Our aim is for excellence, empathy, and compassion. We would love to find a vet who shares our vision.
