Job Description:

We are open to candidates at the Associate Trader or Trader level, responsible for executing Equity and FX trades under supervision, supporting Dimensional’s investment strategy, and refining trading systems globally.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate execution performance using in-house and third-party transaction cost analysis tools.
• Gain an understanding of execution algorithms, order and execution management systems, and regional market microstructures and regulations.
• Manage real-time trade reporting, matching, and settlement.
• Liaise with Portfolio Management, Research, and operations in the region and globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a quantitative field.
• Financial Service experience with at least 1+ year of equity trading experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment and deal with complex situations.
• Completed applicable trading exams and holds required certifications/licensures.
• Basic knowledge of execution analytics, trading strategies, and risk management techniques.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and large data sets.
• Experience with trading technology tools, including OMS and Trade Cost Analysis tools.

Preferred

• Advanced coursework in computer science, statistics, econometrics, or mathematics.
• Experience with SQL database, VBA programming, and knowledge of programming languages like Python.
• Experience working within the Trading department.
