MTP Services in Sydney seeks a modern Test Engineer to strengthen our Enterprise Data Solution team. The role focuses on automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-driven test generation to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

You will design and maintain test strategies, build robust automation with Selenium, perform exploratory and performance testing, and collaborate across BAU and project teams to validate data pipelines on Databricks and SQL Server environments.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with automated testing methodologies and practices.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, SQL, JavaScript) for test automation.
• Strong SQL testing skills using SSMS and data validation of ETL/ELT workflows.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Design, develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
• Perform exploratory testing to identify issues and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design effective test solutions.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Implement and manage CI/CD and continuous testing pipelines.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for data platforms and pipelines (Databricks, SQL Server, SSIS) using Python and SQL.
• Test end-to-end data solutions across data pipelines and platform components.
• Use AI/ML and LLM tools to support test planning, test data generation, and test result analysis with human validation.
• Create detailed test reports and metrics; participate in code reviews and stay updated on testing trends.
