Job summary

Unified Lawyers Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an Associate Family Lawyer to deepen expertise in a leading specialist practice. You will handle complex parenting disputes, high-net-worth property matters, and family violence proceedings, with mentorship and a clear pathway for progression.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years PAE in Family Law.
• Experience assisting with and managing family law matters.
• Exposure to the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
• Strong drafting and communication skills.
• Sound judgement and attention to detail.
• A client-focused approach.
• A genuine passion for family law.
• A desire to continue developing professionally and progressing your career.
• LEAP experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage family law matters with appropriate supervision and support.
• Work on parenting, property and financial matters.
• Draft legal documents and correspondence.
• Participate in mediations, negotiations and court appearances.
• Build strong relationships with clients during significant life events.
• Collaborate with experienced practitioners, barristers and external professionals.
