Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Sydney seeks an experienced architect to lead migration of F5 GTM/LTM environments to F5 Distributed Cloud (XC). You will design strategies, develop runbooks, manage cutovers, and ensure secure, compliant delivery across multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities include DNS steering, dependency mapping, phased migrations, and crafting low/high level designs for scalable, highly available application delivery architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment and discovery workshops for existing F5 GTM/LTM environments.
• Design migration strategies from on premises F5 GTM/DNS to F5 Distributed Cloud (XC) SaaS.
• Develop migration runbooks, implementation plans, rollback plans, and cutover procedures.
• Perform DNS traffic steering, application onboarding, and policy migration to Distributed Cloud services.
• Conduct application dependency mapping and traffic flow analysis.
• Execute phased migration, validation, and production cutover activities.
• Configure and deploy: Distributed Cloud DNS, Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB), Application Delivery Services, Multi Cloud Networking, Load Balancers, Service Discovery, Origin Pools, Health Monitoring, WAAP.
• Integrate Distributed Cloud services with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Implement traffic optimization, failover, and geographic load balancing policies.
• Design highly available and scalable application delivery solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews and recommend modernization opportunities.
• Create low level and high level design documents.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Troubleshoot DNS, load balancing, routing, and application connectivity issues.

• Perform health checks, performance tuning, and optimization.


• Support incident resolution during migration and post migration stabilization.


• Provide operational handover and knowledge transfer to support teams.
