Job description

Help shape the future of banking. We're looking for someone who sees opportunity where others see process.

As an Associate within the Financial Institutions & Government (FIG) team, you'll support a portfolio of major government clients while helping transform how portfolio management is delivered. This is an opportunity to combine client service, analytical thinking and emerging technologies to create smarter, more scalable ways of working. While you'll gain exposure to core banking activities including credit reviews, KYC and portfolio management, this role is equally focused on innovation. You'll be encouraged to challenge the status quo, identify opportunities for improvement and leverage automation, AI and data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and client outcomes.

What you'll be doing:
  • Supporting Government and Higher Education portfolios across a range of client and portfolio management activities.
  • Coordinating credit reviews, KYC processes and client servicing requests.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across Coverage, Risk, Product and Operations teams.
  • Maintaining high-quality client and portfolio data.
  • Identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and scale workflows.
  • Contributing to initiatives that improve efficiency, consistency and client outcomes through technology and AI.
We're interested in people who:
  • Are adaptable, curious and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Take ownership and enjoy solving complex problems.
  • Are passionate about process improvement, automation, AI or data analytics.
  • Think strategically about how work can be delivered more efficiently at scale.
  • Can work independently while collaborating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.

Banking experience is beneficial, but it isn't essential. We're open to candidates from banking, analytics, operations, change, transformation or related backgrounds who bring the right mindset and a willingness to learn.

Why join us?

This role offers exposure to major government clients, opportunities to work on meaningful automation and transformation initiatives, and a strong development pathway within Institutional Banking & Markets. You'll be part of a team focused on building smarter, more efficient ways of working while developing valuable experience across portfolio management, risk and client coverage.

If you're excited by the idea of combining banking, technology and innovation to create real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
