With a proud, growing network of 21 specialist hospitals across Australia, we offer the scale, stability and impact of a national healthcare leader, but with the tight-knit heart of a local team. By focusing on elective, day and short-stay surgeries, we provide our nursing teams with a healthier work rhythm, so you can build a career you'll be proud of without sacrificing what matters most to you.

Join us and discover a workplace built for humans - where world-class care meets a world-class life.

About our hospital:

Windsor Private Hospital is in an amazing inner city location, close to public transport and Chapel Street.

Windsor Private Hospital is a boutique, 2 theatre, day and short stay hospital. It is a purpose-built day surgery with excellent facilities, specialising in Ophthalmology, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, Interventional Pain Management, Oral Surgery, and minor Vascular Surgery.

Your opportunity:

As an ANUM, you are the heartbeat of our team, bringing our mission of the best possible care to life. You'll support the smooth running of our facility by driving clinical excellence and patient safety at every stage of their journey. Through close collaboration with our multidisciplinary team, you'll ensure outcomes that are positive, reliable and centred on the person in front of you.

This amazing ANUM Ophthalmology scrub/ scout role opportunity is on a full time basis.

  • Deliver evidence-based care: Monitor patient wellbeing and administer safe, high-quality treatment tailored to each stage of their hospital stay

  • Prioritise and monitor patient safety: Maintain clear team communication, assess patient progress, respond promptly to changes or complications, and keep patient safety central to all decisions.
  • Mentor and educate colleagues: Share your clinical knowledge to build confidence, strengthen teamwork and support safe, consistent practices across the team.
  • Drive quality and safety improvement: Support the GM / DON and NUM with quality and safety activities, helping embed continuous improvement, clinical excellence and safe practice across the hospital.
Who we're looking for:

  • Advanced clinical and technical capability, supported by sound problem-solving skills
  • A genuine passion for education, mentoring and clinical leadership
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, doctors, staff and other stakeholders
  • Solid time management, organisational and communication skills
We'd love it if you also had:
  • Experience in our hospital's other specialties, you will be required to assist the entire team.
  • Experience in a fast-paced day / short stay hospital environment
  • Ability to work across morning and afternoon shifts Monday to Friday

Don't quite tick all the boxes? At Nexus, what matters most is your strong patient focus and commitment to exceptional care. If that sounds like you, we still encourage you to apply.
