By focusing on elective, day and short-stay surgeries, we provide our teams with a healthier work rhythm, so you can build a career you’ll be proud of without sacrificing what matters most to you.

Join us and discover a workplace built for humans - where world-class care meets a world-class life.

About our hospital:

Pennant Hills Day Surgery is a boutique, purpose-built, three theatre specialist short-stay facility.

Pennant Hills Day Surgery specialises in Gastroenterology, Dermatology (MOHS), Skin Lesion Surgery, Interventional Pain Management and Oral Surgery.

The Day Surgery is ideally located and is easily accessible by public transport

As a Nurse, you are the heartbeat of our team, bringing our mission of the best possible care to life. You’ll support the smooth running of our facility by driving clinical excellence and patient safety at every stage of their journey. Through close collaboration with our multidisciplinary team, you’ll ensure outcomes that are positive, reliable and centred on the person in front of you.

We are looking for an experienced Registered or Enrolled Nurse Endoscopy Scrub/ Scout Full-time or Part-time.

  • Prioritise and monitor patient safety: Maintain clear team communication, assess patient progress, respond promptly to changes or complications, and keep patient safety central to all decisions.
  • Support recovery at home: Provide clear education, guidance and reassurance so patients feel confident managing their recovery after discharge.
  • Guide and support colleagues: Supervise and support colleagues on shift, fostering confidence, teamwork and safe practice.
  • Champion improvement: Promote continuous improvement, safety and excellence across all areas of the hospital.

We’d love it if you also had:

  • Experience in our hospital’s specialties
  • Experience in a fast-paced day/ short stay hospital environment

  • Seize the growth that’s yours for the taking: Don’t wait for permission to move forward - just ask! Every day, you’ll find new ways to step up and shape the career you want.
  • Get the support you need for the life you want: We respect your time as much as your dedication and expertise. You’ll enjoy a predictable schedule with the time you need to rest and recharge.

You’ll also enjoy a range of other benefits, including:

  • Better rosters: Predictable schedules with minimal to no weekend shifts, giving you the freedom to plan your life.
