We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a permanent full-time basis.
Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and broader clinical leadership team, you will provide clinical leadership and support the day-to-day operations of the ICU, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality and patient-centred care to critically ill patients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced critical care nurse looking to further develop their leadership skills while contributing to a supportive, collaborative and high-performing ICU environment.
You will hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, with demonstrated recent experience within an Intensive Care Unit or critical care environment. Previous leadership or senior nursing experience, including experience in an ANUM, Clinical Nurse or equivalent role, will be highly regarded.
You will bring strong critical care knowledge, sound clinical judgement and excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently support staff and respond effectively to complex and changing clinical situations.
You will demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care, clinical excellence, staff development and continuous improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will have the ability to lead and support a diverse nursing team, manage competing clinical and operational priorities, and contribute positively to a high-performing ICU service. A commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining contemporary critical care nursing practice is essential.
