Job summary

Elmhaven Aged Care in Streaky Bay is seeking an experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager to lead clinical care and support the Nurse Unit Manager. You will oversee high-quality, person-centred nursing care and help manage resident care plans within a 7-day roster.

You will be registered as a nurse with the NMBA, have post-registration leadership experience, and be committed to quality aged care standards and team development.

Qualifications

• Current registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a current practising certificate.
• At least three years’ post-registration experience, or current classification as a Clinical Nurse.
• Experience providing clinical leadership, supervision and support to nursing staff.
• Sound knowledge of aged care standards and person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee high-quality, person-centred clinical nursing care.
• Support the management and review of individual resident care plans.
• Provide clinical guidance, supervision and support to nursing staff and students.

Overview

Elmhaven Aged Care in Streaky Bay is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager.

Working alongside the Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll provide clinical leadership and support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. This is an opportunity to use your nursing experience to lead a supportive team, advocate for residents and help create a positive environment where people feel valued and cared for.

About the Role
