The University of Newcastle is seeking an Associate Lecturer in Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Therapy) based in Callaghan NSW. This teaching‑focused position (90% teaching, 10% service) is offered at 0.6FTE for two years fixed term, with salary between $84,933 and $115,261 plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading.

You will contribute to high‑quality teaching across Medical Radiation Sciences programs, support the design, delivery and coordination of undergraduate coursework, and

Formación

• Academic qualification in Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Therapy), with significant clinical experience and expertise in professional practice education in Radiation Therapy.
• Registration: Currently hold, or be eligible for, unrestricted Ahpra Registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Radiation Therapy).
• Quality Teaching: Demonstrated capability to deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences and have measured outcomes and responded to feedback on teaching.
• Curriculum Development: Ability to develop and deliver lectures, tutorials, practical classes, workshops and clinical learning activities.
• Engagement: Willingness to contribute to academic service, committee work and emerging external collaborations.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within diverse academic teams.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Medical Radiation Sciences programs (Diagnostic Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy).
• Support the design, delivery and coordination of undergraduate coursework in line with School and College priorities.
