Bespoke Careers is seeking an Associate Landscape Architect for a National Studio role, shaping a growing landscape arm with projects spanning urban development, infrastructure, and international work.

You’ll collaborate with the Director, drive client engagement, mentor a junior team, and manage project financials while contributing to business development in a flexible hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional landscape/urban design experience.
• Experience at Associate level within landscape architecture.
• Proven leadership and mentoring track record.
• Experience across greenfield developments, architectural, residential, and international work.
• Strong client relationship management and business development experience.
• Proficient in CAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle across diverse portfolio including urban development and infrastructure.
• Drive client engagement and secure repeat business.
• Provide strategic oversight while maintaining hands-on project control with the Director.
• Mentor junior team and foster a high-performing culture.

Associate Landscape Architect- National Studio

Join a highly regarded, multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong national presence and an ambitious growth trajectory. With decades of success across planning and transport, the business is now investing heavily in its emerging landscape arm, offering a rare opportunity to help shape a team from the ground up. This role will see you working closely with an entrepreneurial Director, driving projects, clients, and team performance. They are seeking a commercially astute and design-led Associate to play a pivotal role in the next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle across a diverse portfolio including urban development, infrastructure, and both national and international work
• Drive client engagement, maintaining and growing key relationships to secure repeat business
• Work closely with the Director to providestrategic oversight while maintaining hands‑on project control
• Support and mentor a junior team, fostering a high‑performing and collaborative culture
• Manage project financials including invoicing, forecasting, and commercial outcomes
• Contribute to business development initiatives and strengthen market presence through your network
• Drive program, design coordination, and documentation across all project stages
• Contribute to the growth of the studio

Skills and Experience

• 10+ years’ of professional experience within a reputable landscape or urban design practice
• Proven experience operating at Associatelevel within landscape architecture
• Strong leadership capability with a track record of mentoring and developing teams
• Demonstrated expertise across multiple sectors including greenfield developments, architectural, residential and international project work
• Demonstrated success in client relationship management and business development
• Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Confident leader with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
