Urbis is seeking an Associate Director to lead our NSW Transport team, shaping major development and infrastructure projects with expert traffic and transport advice. You will mentor a multidisciplinary group and drive high-value outcomes for government and private clients.

You will apply your 10+ years in transport planning to deliver impact assessments, design guidance, and strategic planning, while growing the practice and strengthening client relationships in NSW and beyond.

Qualifications

• Holds relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering or planning, with 10+ years in transport planning.
• Trusted technical advisor delivering practical transport solutions.
• Extensive experience delivering Transport Impact Assessments.
• Capability in intersection analysis and access design.
• Strong knowledge of NSW traffic engineering standards.
• Proven leadership of project teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert traffic and transport advice across a diverse portfolio.
• Lead the preparation and review of transport impact assessments and design advice.
• Manage projects from inception to completion with high-quality client service.
• Contribute to project forecasting, budgeting, and financial management.
• Support strategic transport advisory projects and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor staff.
• Build and strengthen client relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Drive growth of the transport advisory business.
