A leading educational institution in Australia seeks an experienced Associate Director for Library Services for Research and Learning. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership to enhance library learning experiences and scholarly research services while fostering innovation and client satisfaction. Applicants must have a tertiary qualification in Library Science and significant leadership experience in an academic library. This full-time position offers competitive remuneration and is based in Melbourne, North Sydney, or Brisbane.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic senior librarian to provide bold and strategic leadership to deliver a unified vision for library learning experiences and scholarly research services that advance the university's strategic priorities in research excellence, student empowerment, innovation and inclusive communities.
Reporting to the Library Director and contributing as a senior-level university librarian on external committees and professional groups, you'll proactively lead and develop staff in service delivery and design to ensure their successful contribution to the broader Library and university's strategic goals and direction.
With a recognised track record of achievement in strategy, planning, service delivery and collections management, you'll develop meaningful and effective internal and external client relationships to realise client needs and ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
You'll be tertiary qualified in Library Science or Information Management, coupled with conferring eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association. You'll also possess significant experience in leadership and management at senior level in an academic library, including demonstrated understanding of the higher education business environment.
Key to your success will be in your ability to foster an innovation culture aligned to ACU's distinctive mission and values, devise and drive student information and digital literacy skills and champion change leadership initiatives.
