Job summary

JBWere’s CIO Office in Australia seeks an Associate Director to advance fixed income research and support portfolio construction for advisers and clients. You will bring deep knowledge of fixed income markets and contribute to portfolio decisions with rigorous analysis.

You will translate complex fixed income insights into clear investment views for advisers, clients and NAB-aligned networks, reinforcing our client-centric approach and collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of public fixed income markets and extensive fixed income research experience.
• Experience with fixed income product selection and portfolio management support.
• Strong research and analytical skills with proficiency in Bloomberg, S&P and Moody’s.
• Ability to translate fixed income analysis into clear investment views for advisers and clients.
• Degree in commerce/economics/business/finance; CFA/FINSIA/MBA or similar encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Fixed Income Strategy in delivering high-quality research and portfolio management services.
• Research issuers and tradable fixed income securities to inform client portfolios.
• Provide investment insights and recommendations to JBWere advisers, clients and NAB networks.
• Contribute to asset allocation and portfolio management decisions, including performance benchmarking.
• Maintain and enhance proprietary research publications, portfolio tools and reporting.
