Job summary

Fujitsu Australia is seeking an Associate Consultant, Data Science to join our AI & Data team. You will help design, implement and optimize enterprise AI solutions within Azure and other clouds while growing consulting and technical expertise.

You will support client engagements, develop data science, analytics and generative AI capabilities, and contribute to RAG, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and data prep tasks to meet customer needs and budgets.

Associate Consultant, Data Science

Join our AI & Data team and help clients solve business challenges through data science, analytics and generative AI solutions. Working under the guidance of experienced team members, you will support the design, implementation and optimisation of enterprise AI solutions within Azure and other cloud environments while building your consulting and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Support client engagements to identify opportunities for data science, analytics and AI solutions.
• Contribute to the implementation of data science, analytics and AI solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Assist with the implementation, testing, evaluation and tuning of enterprise generative AI solutions.
• Develop and support RAG, prompt engineering, model evaluation, data preparation and analytics components.
• Contribute to technical solution design and customer data and AI architectures.
• Provide support, troubleshooting and process improvement activities.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to resolve business and technology issues.
• Contribute to technical proposals and solution recommendations.
• Ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and relevant certifications.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and contribute ideas and intellectual property.

Skills & Experience

• Experience developing and delivering data science and AI solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Experience implementing enterprise generative AI solutions.
• Experience developing generative AI agents and working with large language models.
• Knowledge of RAG solutions, including hallucination mitigation and prompt engineering techniques.
• Experience implementing AI solutions on Azure cloud services.
• Experience with Azure AI Studio and/or Azure Machine Learning.
• Knowledge or experience of MLOps, LLMOps, Databricks and DevOps tools.
• Programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Programming skills in R.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Consulting and stakeholder engagement experience.
