This is a great opportunity for an Associate Construction Lawyer (back-end/disputes) to join the Melbourne team of a tier-one national Construction practice, led by highly regarded Partners recognised in Chambers APAC, Legal 500 and Best Lawyers.

This firm is known for its international reach and commitment to professional growth. You’ll have access to secondment opportunities across the global network of offices, structured learning programs, and transparent progression pathways. You’ll also benefit from hybrid working, transparent bonus structures, and a clear, merit-based approach to progression.

You’ll work alongside an exceptional group of Partners and Special Counsel with deep expertise in major construction disputes, supported by a collaborative team of lawyers working across both front-end and back-end matters. The team works seamlessly across all major Australian jurisdictions and has extensive experience advising on domestic and cross-border projects.

You’ll advise on complex disputes for developers, principals, contractors, major subcontractors, and consultants — both locally and internationally. Matters span high-profile energy, renewables, and infrastructure projects, as well as large-scale transport, defence, telecommunications, and commercial developments.

This role would suit a motivated Associate with 2‑4 years’ experience in construction and infrastructure disputes — particularly within the energy, renewables, or technology sectors — who’s looking to take the next step in a team that combines national depth with global opportunities.
