Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

  • Develop your cloud engineering career in a supportive and experienced team
  • Work across enterprise AWS and Google Cloud environments
The opportunity to join our team

We have two new opportunities for Associate Cloud Engineers to join our Cloud Technology team.

These roles offer a great environment to build your technical capability, learn from experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience supporting cloud platforms at enterprise scale. You'll contribute to meaningful cloud projects while developing practical skills across infrastructure, automation, security and platform engineering.

You'll join a friendly team that values curiosity, initiative and a genuine interest in cloud technology. There will be plenty to learn, so these roles will suit people who are motivated to develop, comfortable taking ownership of their work and keen to build a long-term career in cloud engineering.

What you'll do

Working alongside senior engineers, you'll help develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and automation solutions across AWS and Google Cloud. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and platforms
  • Executing and improving automation patterns to support quality and efficiency
  • Supporting development teams to build their cloud capability
  • Helping maintain platform performance, availability and scalability
  • Managing cloud environments in line with security and risk requirements
  • Contributing to automated monitoring and cloud compliance
  • Writing technical documentation and showcasing the outcomes of your work
What You Bring to This Role

We're looking for someone at the beginning of their cloud engineering career who has already taken practical steps to build their knowledge. You'll bring:

  • A genuine interest in cloud environments and some hands-on cloud experience
  • Exposure to cloud, ideally AWS or Google Cloud (as this aligns with our environment), however Azure exposure is good too.
  • Familiarity with Linux and a scripting language, ideally Python
  • Cloud certifications, personal projects or other practical examples that demonstrate your interest and capability
  • An understanding of security fundamentals within cloud environments
  • Intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to learn new technologies
  • The ability to take ownership, work independently and ask the right questions when support is needed
  • The motivation and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced learning environment

A university degree is not essential. We're more interested in the experience, certifications and practical work you've completed, whether professionally, through study or in your own time. If you have a GitHub repository or portfolio of projects, we'd love to see it as part of your application.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to accelerate your development in a team that genuinely enjoys helping people learn. You'll be surrounded by experienced cloud engineers, gain exposure to enterprise-scale platforms and have the chance to contribute to projects that support critical technology services across the business.

If you're looking for a role where you can deepen your cloud engineering skills, take on new challenges and continue learning every day, we'd love to hear from you.
