Job summary

Accenture in Melbourne is seeking a Cloud & DevOps Engineer for a full-time on-site role. You will design, build and manage AWS infrastructure, implement CI/CD pipelines, and automate provisioning to support reliable software delivery.

The role requires hands-on AWS, Linux (RHEL), and container orchestration experience with Kubernetes and Docker, plus scripting (Bash/Python) and ELK monitoring. Flexibility for shifts and strong security clearance are valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong hands‑on AWS experience across services such as: EC2 RDS VPC IAM CloudWatch S3 ElastiCache.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using: Jenkins Terraform Ansible Packer.
• Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL or equivalent).
• Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Elastic Stack (ELK).

On-call and Shift Expectations

Our positions are primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure).

Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction.
