Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead the design team and civil engineering delivery across major road and transport projects in Melbourne. You will play a key role in winning work, supporting opportunity development, proposals and major bids, and develop methodologies, scopes, programmes and resourcing strategies for new opportunities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in roads, civil or transport infrastructure.
• Strong experience working within the Victorian transport infrastructure market.
• Demonstrated experience in Design Manager and/or Civil Lead roles on large, multidisciplinary transport projects.
• Proven involvement in proposals, bids and work-winning, including methodology, scope, programme and resourcing.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to bring people together around complex project issues to deliver positive outcomes.

What you'll bring

• A strong track record across significant Victorian road and transport infrastructure, ideally within complex D&C or similar delivery environments
• Experience working directly with clients, contractors and key stakeholders
• Proven involvement in proposals, bids and work-winning, including methodology, scope, programme and resourcing
• Relevant engineering qualifications
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to bring people together around complex project issues to deliver positive outcomes
