Job summary

AJQ Consulting is seeking an experienced Associate Business Analyst to join our Canberra team on a 12-month contract basis. You will analyse stakeholder objectives, assess business needs, determine requirements for systems and work with cross-functional teams to deliver value.

You will develop plans, select appropriate techniques, provide guidance to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate with SMEs to realise improvements while ensuring outcomes meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Analyse stakeholder objectives and underlying issues arising from investigations into business needs.
• Develop plans and select appropriate techniques at the appropriate level of detail to meet assigned objectives.
• Provide advice and guidance to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify potential business benefits and options to realise business improvements.
• Resolve problems in collaboration with teams and stakeholders and contribute to identifying alternative courses of action.
• Appraise and verify new and updated business outcomes to ensure they meet requirements and objectives.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gain commitment to business objectives.
