Job summary

KFC South Pacific is hiring an Assistant Warehouse Specialist at the Wetherill Park Equipment Distribution Centre. You’ll support day-to-day operations, receiving and delivering equipment, stocking parts and coordinating between restaurants and project sites.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with a 1:30pm finish on Fridays and occasional regional/interstate travel. You’ll work with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence (LF).
• Around two years’ experience in warehousing, logistics or distribution.
• Attention to detail and a practical, proactive approach.
• Commitment to safe working and manual handling practices.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Basic computer skills and comfort learning warehouse systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel regionally or interstate when required.

Responsibilities

• Pick, check and dispatch equipment, smallwares and spare parts for restaurants and projects.
• Receive, inspect, unload and safely store incoming equipment and stock.
• Coordinate and complete equipment deliveries for new restaurants or refurbishments.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain stock movements and assist with stocktakes.
• Work with restaurants, contractors and project teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Keep warehouse, yard and vehicles safe, organised and well maintained.
• Support servicing and maintenance of EDC vehicles and equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety and efficiency in operations.
• Travel regionally or interstate when required.
